In a trusting and confidential setting, a student may wish to examine issues such as gaining independence, managing new relationships, balancing academic stresses, or about making meaningful career decisions. Other students struggle with severe problems stemming from childhood, critical life events such as a recent loss or trauma, or with finding meaning and fulfillment in their lives.
Counseling Services offers weekly group counseling sessions in a confidential and safe atmosphere for students who may benefit from an interpersonal experience where the goal is to provide support and to learn from each other.
